Lt. Col. Monish Ahuja (Veteran), Chairman & Managing Director of  PRESPL, is a distinguished Army veteran and M.Tech in Nuclear Technology, leading India’s foremost biomass supply chain and clean energy enterprise.A pioneer in bio-energy innovations, he has spearheaded initiatives like Project 42 (paddy stubble management) and Eco-Cremation using biomass briquettes. Under his leadership, PRESPL has become a global model for circular economy and sustainability, attracting investments from Shell Ventures, Mitsui, US DFC, and World Bank affiliates.He holds key roles across energy forums including Chairmanship of CBEII, and board positions with CLEAN Energy Network and MSME Business Forum India, influencing policy across MNRE, MoPNG, MoA&FW, and G20 Climate Platforms.Lt. Col. Ahuja is widely recognized for his thought leadership in clean energy, climate action, and responsible entrepreneurship.

Col. Sumeet Malhan, SM (Veteran), serves as the Chief Executive Officer of PRESPL, India’s leading biomass-based clean energy company.A decorated officer of the Indian Army, Col. Malhan brings over three decades of distinguished military service, marked by the Sena Medal for gallantry in counter-insurgency operations.An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and the University of Pune, he possesses a strong academic foundation in Electrical Engineering, Strategic Studies, and EHS Compliance, and has contributed significantly to the development of strategic defence infrastructure through his tenure with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).Since joining PRESPL in 2019, Col Malhan has been instrumental in driving renewable energy innovations and operational excellence. Under his leadership, the company has introduced advanced biomass technologies and built robust, scalable supply chain systems that deliver both environmental impact and economic value.Blending military precision with deep technical insight, Col. Malhan exemplifies purpose-driven leadership - shaping PRESPL’s mission to accelerate India’s clean energy transition and create lasting impact in the circular economy space.

Col. Pronob Roy (Veteran) is the Chief Operations Officer at PRESPL, India’s leading integrated biomass supply chain and bioenergy company.An Indian Army Veteran with over 32 years of distinguished service, he brings a rare blend of military precision, global operational strategy, and sustainability leadership.A decorated officer and former Deputy Chief of Integrated Support Staff with the United Nations Mission in Haiti, Col. Roy has led large-scale logistics, infrastructure, and relief operations in high-pressure environments. At PRESPL, he drives pan-India operations, including biomass procurement, supply chain management, and decarbonization initiatives - enabling cleaner energy adoption across industries and MSMEs.Academically accomplished, he holds degrees in Chemistry, Electronics Engineering, Strategic Management, and Operational Art, alongside certifications in project and financial management. As a mentor to institutions like IIMs, NIFM, and USI Delhi, Col. Roy is widely respected for his thought leadership in sustainability and operational excellence.<meta>
